I just have to say, I love blueberries. Not only do they have so many health benefits, they’re refreshing, sweet, and perfect in just about everything. I don’t know how you eat this berry, but for me they go in cereal, muffins, breads, on top of ice cream, in frostings, cookies…hehehe…really just about everything. When summer ends and this berry no longer is in season, it’s really almost depressing. Happy July everyone!
Summer is now in full swing and I do hope everyone is enjoying it so far. It’s just one of those seasons that makes you feel happier and more motivated to do more. Frankly, my favorite part about this season (besides the much warmer weather) are the birds. I just enjoy their singing in the morning and throughout the day and there are so many that when they all make noise, it just seemingly blends so well together. Continue reading
This week I wanted to create a twist on the normal black and white cookies. Since the original style is already extremely good, I wanted to see if I could make it even better. As you know, I try to make things a little bit “healthier” in choice of ingredients and I will never say that what I make is 100% purely healthy (I mean, I still use ingredients such as sugar and butter), but I do try to make favorite desserts not so guilty.
